Williams Grove Speedway

Since its beginning in 1939, Williams Grove Speedway has been one of the top weekly sprint car tracks in the country. The speedway is a 1/2 mile banked smooth clay oval with speeds reaching in excess of 100 mph. The 2024 racing season runs from March to October. Our largest show, the World of Outlaws National Open will pay $75,000 to the winner plus over $190,000 in total prize money. Season admission prices range from $20 to $50 for adults with discounted youth (Ages 13-20) priced from $10-$20 and Kids 12 and under are always FREE. Special sanctioned events include races for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, ULMS Late Models, United States Auto Club, United Racing Club and the PA Sprint Series. Other racing divisions appearing throughout the season include 358 sprint cars, 360 sprint cars, super late models and super sportsman. We strive to be a family oriented facility by hosting Fan Appreciation Nights, Kids Night, fireworks shows and by supporting many local and national charities.

Williams Grove Opens 358 Sprint Season March 29
First 410 & 358 sprint doubleheader of 2024 is Kids Easter Night

Mechanicsburg – March 29 will be Kids Easter Night at Williams Grove Speedway, featuring Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars, HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprints and FREE Easter chocolate for kids!

Action for the 410 and 358 sprints gets underway at 7:30 pm with gates opening at 5:30.

The first 100 youth ages 12 and under passing through the main grandstand admission gate will receive a FREE chocolate Easter treat compliments of sprint car news website Hoseheads.com.

The race will be the first of the season for the 358 sprint cars as the division makes its season debut with another 12 dates slated on the 2024 schedule at the ova

First Williams Grove Night Race Of ’24 Is Friday
ULMS Super Late Models Join Super 410 Sprints!

Mechanicsburg – Williams Grove Speedway will go night racing this Friday, March 22 at 7:30 pm featuring the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars and the only show of the season for super late models at the track.

The first race of the season under the lights will find the sprint cars in action, racing for a $5,500 payday in a 25-lap affair.

The Jay’s Automotive United Late Model Series (ULMS) will sanction the super late model action at Williams Grove on Friday night.

The super lates will vie in a 30-lap, $4,000 to win feature.

Williams Grove Opener Win List Full Of Standouts And Surprises
Opening Day Tradition Continues March 17

Mechanicsburg - Opening day at Williams Grove Speedway is a tradition that dates back to the maiden season in 1939 when The Flying Dutchman, Tommy Hinnershitz of Oley claimed the very first race held at the track.

And another chapter in Williams Grove lidlifter history is set to unfold this Sunday, March 17 at 2 pm when the 2024 season opener is spun off featuring the Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars and the wingless super sportsman.

Presented by Hoosier, gates for Opening Day 2024 will open at noon with the sprint cars racing for a $5,500 payday in a 25-lap main event.

Adult general admission is set at $20 with youth ages 13-20 admitted for just $10 while kids ages 12 and under are always admitted for FREE at Williams Grove Speedway

Rahmer Nabs First Grove Sprints Win In First Night Race Friday
Tyler Emory victorious in ULMS late models

Mechanicsburg – Freddie Rahmer muscled around Danny Dietrich to claim his first sprint car victory of the season at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, worth $5,500.

The victory was the 18th of his career at Williams Grove, tying him with Mark Kinser on the oval all-time win list.

Tyler Emory of Chaptico, Maryland, wired the field in the 20-lap ULMS Late Model Series main to claim $4,000.

The entire racing program was completed less than two hours.
