Special Notice from Williams Grove Speedway:

Due to a scheduling conflict, the super late models program that was announced for Friday, August 14 at Williams Grove Speedway has been removed from the schedule and has been replaced with a program of USAC East wingless 360 sprints and the HJ Towing & Recovery 358 sprint cars.

The USAC East wingless program will be the first ever appearance by the circuit at Williams Grove. Shows slated for earlier this year and early in 2019 could not be completed.

More details surrounding the special wing/non—wing Williams Grove event will be released in coming weeks.

Williams Grove And Selinsgrove Speedways Renew Plans For 2020 Civil War Super Late Model Series – North vs. South

Modern Heritage and RBS Auto & Trailer Sales Will Present Series

Mechanicsburg – With the season resuming, Williams Grove and Selinsgrove Speedways have renewed their plan to join forces in 2020 to present The Civil War Super Late Model Series – North vs. South, presented by Modern Heritage of Mifflinburg, Pa., and RBS Auto & Trailer Sales of Eldersburg and McHenry, Md.

The revised inaugural series schedule will consist of two races at Williams Grove and four at Selinsgrove spanning late June through early September carrying full points for feature finishes that will award a premium to the champion at series’ end and contingency prizes for finishers second through fifth in points.

Hooser Tire and Lias Tire American Racer will sponsor the series as well, joining forces with Modern Heritage and RBS Auto & Trailer Sales.

The southern dates of the series, at Williams Grove Speedway, will take place on Friday, August 7 and again on Friday, August 21 in conjunction with the World of Outlaws Late Models program at the Grove.

Teams will receive North vs. South Series appearance points only for the August 21 program. All other series races will divvy out full feature points.

The series will kickoff in the North, on June 20 at Selinsgrove Speedway.

Ensuing action in the North at Selinsgrove will continue on July 25, August 15 and for the series finale on September 6.
