Williams Grove Speedway

Since its beginning in 1939, Williams Grove Speedway has been one of the top weekly sprint car tracks in the country. The speedway is a 1/2 mile banked smooth clay oval with speeds reaching in excess of 100 mph. The 2024 racing season runs from March to October. Our largest show, the World of Outlaws National Open will pay $75,000 to the winner plus over $190,000 in total prize money. Season admission prices range from $20 to $50 for adults with discounted youth (Ages 13-20) priced from $10-$20 and Kids 12 and under are always FREE. Special sanctioned events include races for the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars, ULMS Late Models, United States Auto Club, United Racing Club and the PA Sprint Series. Other racing divisions appearing throughout the season include 358 sprint cars, 360 sprint cars, super late models and super sportsman. We strive to be a family oriented facility by hosting Fan Appreciation Nights, Kids Night, fireworks shows and by supporting many local and national charities.

World Of Outlaws Hit Williams Grove Speedway May 10 & 11
Mechanicsburg – The first appearance of the season at Williams Grove Speedway by the NOS Energy Drink World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Series is just two weeks away, slated for Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11.

The outlaws series drivers will hit town to compete in the HVAC Distributors Morgan Cup weekend, doing battle with the weekly Williams Grove Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint car drivers.

Both the Friday and Saturday main events will be 25 laps in distance with the big prize up for grabs on Saturday night.

With $12,000 on the line for the winner on Friday, Saturday’s finale will pay $15,000 to win plus another $5,000 for Morgan Cup bragging rights.

And at a total of 20K for Saturday’s feature, that’s a cool $800 per lap!

Williams Grove Hoosier Diamond Series Opens Friday With Outlaws Tune Up
410 sprints race for 6K to win, 358 sprints race in second event of season

Mechanicsburg – The Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars will prepare for the upcoming World of Outlaws invasion at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, May 3 when they compete in a Hoosier Diamond Series World of Outlaws Tune Up race, presented by Shiloh Paving & Excavating.

The Tune Up event will pay $6,000 to win for the sprint cars as they get ready to compete against the outlaws in the Morgan Cup at the track on May 10 and 11.

An outlaws format including time trials, heats and a dash will be used to set the starting field for this Friday’s 25-lap main event.

The fastest qualifier of the night will receive $300 as the Fast Tees Fast Time Award.

Yellow Breeches Race Pays Sprints 5K To Win, $500 To Start Friday At Williams Grove
Topless 25 for limited late models pays $2,500 to win

Mechanicsburg – Associated Builders and Contractors will present the first Yellow Breeches 500 race of the season for Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint cars at Williams Grove Speedway on Friday night, April 26.

The sprint car race will pay $5,000 to win and $500 to start as part of a $21,000 total purse.

Timed warm-ups will be used to set the heat starting grids before the 25-lap feature takes to the track.

The last three sprint car races at the track have been lost due to weather. Prior to that Anthony Macri scored two wins while Freddie Ramer also proved victorious.

Limited Late Models will also be on the racing card this Friday, competing in a Topless 25, paying $2,500 to win.

Wagaman Wins Williams Grove Sprints For Career Third, Trent Brenneman Gets Limited Late Models

Mechanicsburg – Troy Wagaman Jr. of Hanover scored his first Williams Grove Speedway win of the season on Friday night in Lawrence Chevrolet 410 sprint car action.

Wagaman took home $5,000 for his third career oval victory.

The Topless 25 for limited late models was won by Trent Brenneman of Port Royal for his first ever win at the speedway where his late grandfather Butch Renninger owns four career super late model checkered flags.

The initial start of the 25-lap sprint car main was yellow-flagged when Ryan Wilson turned sideways on the frontstretch.
